It has been acknowledged that life expectancy in Indonesia is approximately 66 years old, far lower than that in Japan, Europe and USA which is about 90 years old. The reduced life expectancy may be due to problems that affect the quality of life. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, undergoing regular health checks, and preventive treatments are efforts to maintain optimal physical and psychological functions in the human body.
MURI Manager Paulus Pangka said that the Award Presentation is a legitimate and significant one. Prof. Wimpie Pangkahila deserves recognition with this Award. The MURI Award given to UNUD has been recorded as the 3,197th award since its inception on 27th January 1990.
MURI presents awards, based on certain superlative criteria such as the first, unique, and rare achievements. UNUD qualified for this Award due to its brilliant idea: the first in the world to establish the Post-Graduate Masters Program in Anti-Aging Medicine.
